CONFIRMATION AT LAST!!

It's finally all been confirmed by the Kaiser Surgery Scheduler and Audiologist. My CI surgery will be on September 13th, my initial stimulation will be on October 7th, and my follow up appointment with the Audie will be on October 11th. Everyone involved has been very helpful so far, and has kept me informed on a timely basis. Now I have 2 months to think about it!

MY SURGERY DATE DECISION

After discussing it with my family, I selected September 13th for my surgery and E-Mailed the Scheduler. I never heard back from the Audie, and guess she is on vacation. I doubt if she will have any objections re. activation. Next, I should be finding out the specifics and what other appointments I need. It has been a long wait, and although I am happy, I am also getting a bit nervous(natural reaction). I haven't had surgery in 61 years! I hope the results will be good.

CHOICE OF SURGERY DATES

I just received an E-Mail from the Kaiser ENR Surgery Scheduler. She gave me a choice of September 13th or 20th for my CI surgery. HOORAY!!! I am checking with a few people like my sister who will come from New York State and the Audie who will do the activation, but will probably select the 13th. I hope to make a final choice tomorrow.
